The Bus StopThe Bus Stop by L. Andrew R. (January 9, 2006)The Bus Stop
It was raining. Not too hard, but not too soft. It was just comfortable. The kind of rain I always liked. I didn’t mind standing at the bus stop waiting for the bus in this rain. Most other people at the stop were tightly gripping their umbrellas, for fear of getting wet, but I kept mine down, enjoying the rain as it hit my face. I stared out into the street watching the cars fly by kicking up flecks of water behind their wheels for a while and lost track of time. All I knew was that the bus was late. It’s always been funny to me that rain seems to slow man and his wonders down while

Another Day At Clarke'sAnother Day At Clarke's by L. Andrew R. (October 17, 2005)Another Day At Clarke's
“‘It was one of the last nights that I would be in this apartment for the year—and it was a good night. It was one of those nights where the moon was so bright that the midnight sky was just a bit brighter than usual and you could see stars. God, I love stars. The always remind me of how small I am and how much more there is to life than the one that I lead. And finally, I was going to invest in those possibilities. I was going to see the world. I was going to step off my alleyway porch, leave my room, say goodbye to college

I Too Have Seen The Greatest..I Too Have Seen the Greatest Minds of My Generation by L. Andrew R. (February 2004)I Too Have Seen The Greatest..
Allen Ginsberg once said, “I saw the best minds of my generation…” He spoke of the ravages of his generation in the 50s. But in this year, in this day, In my contemporaries, I too have seen the greatest minds of my generation.
I too have seen the greatest minds of my generation, Dashed against the rocks that we refer to as the “teen years”. I have seen them fall into the darkness from the light that they were raised to embrace. I have seen my generation crumble under the weight of these years.
